It is such an incredible honor to be invited into a family's journey to and through parenthood. My work is rooted in my belief in the power of mindfulness and meditation. As a birthworker, and in my own life and motherhood, I have witnessed and experienced how truly transformational these practices can be.
Often people believe that mindfulness is reserved for certain kinds of people. Or those seeking a specific kind of birth. But not just "crunchy" people, or those that want to birth without medication can benefit. The truth is, mindfulness and meditation can be amazing tools for all kinds of people, and families planning for every kind of birth. And these practices can continue to serve them in the transitions of postpartum, parenthood, and through life as a whole.
A yoga and fitness Instructor since 2005, and specializing in the pregnancy year since 2011, I am a certified birth doula, childbirth educator and birth activist. Birth and reproductive justice, and the power to choose how, when and if to become a parent, and to be fully supported and honored through the process, are things that every human deserves.
I'm so grateful to support people as they seek health and wholeness for themselves and their families during the transformative times of pregnancy, birth and parenthood.
